We work together

As an industry leader, Adbri directly employs over 1500 people across our diverse operations, as well as engaging local contractors and suppliers across 130+ locations in Australia.

Embracing differences

Since our inception in 1882 when William Lewis, a Welsh immigrant, officially opened the Brighton Cement Works, Adbri has invested in Australian communities; creating strong futures for our employees while helping cities and towns prosper.

Like our founders and the communities in which we operate, our people come from many different backgrounds and cultures. We recognise the value that an inclusive workplace brings and are committed to providing a workplace that values and promotes diversity of skills, experiences and cultural backgrounds.

Reconciliation

In 2023, Adbri released its Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). The Innovate RAP outlines our commitments to strengthening our relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.

This is our second RAP, and our first Innovate RAP, reflecting the progress we are making in learning from, and working with, our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders.

Our Innovate RAP outlines our commitments over the next two-year period as we continue to progress reconciliation. It has a strong focus on delivering on our vision of an inclusive workplace, as well as creating value for the communities in which we operate.

A copy of the RAP can be found here.

Workplace Gender Equality

As part of Adbri’s commitment to an inclusive workplace we report annually under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012.
