Mark Irwin
Chief Executive Officer
Mark is an experienced executive with over 20 years’ senior executive experience working for some of Australia’s best-known industrial companies, including OZ Minerals, BHP, Asciano, Transfield and GrainCorp.
He has significant commercial and strategic experience in mergers and acquisitions, large-scale projects and enterprise-wide-transformations. This ranges from leading teams focused on business growth and transformation, and more recently large-scale project development and multiple company acquisitions. Mark also had key leadership roles in Transfield’s mining and industrial sector and drove the business transformation of the operating divisions at Asciano.
Jared Gashel
Chief Financial Officer
Jared joined Adbri as Chief Financial Officer in July 2023, bringing more than more than 20 years’ financial experience across multiple industries and three continents.
Prior to joining Adbri, Jared was the Acting Chief Financial Officer at Boral Limited between 2022-2023, and previously held the position of Boral’s General Manager Group Finance and Property. Prior to this, Jared held senior finance executive roles in Australia and Switzerland, as well as more than a decade with KPMG specialising in advisory and capital markets.
Brett Brown
Chief Operating Officer – Cement and Lime
Brett joined Adbri in 2014 in a senior management role including Executive General Manager – Concrete and Aggregates in 2018. In December 2020, Brett was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Adbri’s Cement and Lime division. He has 25 years’ experience in the construction material industry through national exposure in general management and executive leadership roles in both public and private companies. Brett is also a Non-executive Director of Mawsons Group, a 50/50 joint venture between the Mawson family and Adbri. This is a substantial business in its own right directly employing more than 500 people across regional Victoria and New South Wales, covering 35 quarries and more than 50 concrete plants.
Brett has fostered a strong culture in Adbri focused on operational excellence and customer engagement.
Andrew Dell
Chief Operating Officer – Concrete, Aggregates & Masonry
Andrew has extensive experience in the building products industry and has general management and logistics experience. Andrew has been with Adbri since 2008 in a number of senior management positions.
Marcus Clayton
General Counsel and Company Secretary
Marcus joined Adbri in 2003 as General Counsel and Company Secretary. Marcus was previously General Counsel of ASX listed pharmaceutical company F H Faulding & Co Limited, which operated in over 70 countries. Prior to moving in-house, Marcus was a partner at a leading commercial law firm, Finlaysons.
Felicity Lloyd
Chief Sustainability and Innovation Officer
Felicity re-joined Adbri in May 2023 to lead the company’s sustainability and innovation activities. Prior to this, Felicity was the Chief Executive Officer of the Heavy Industry Low-carbon Transition Cooperative Research Centre (HILT CRC).
Felicity is a technical, operational and sustainability leader, with extensive knowledge of Adbri’s operations having previously worked for the company for more than 17 years in both management and operational roles. She has also held positions on the Centre for Energy Technology (CET) Advisory Board and the Faculty of Engineering, Maths and Computer Science Advisory Board at the University of Adelaide.
Christine Rayfield
Chief People Officer
Christine joined Adbri in 2021 bringing over 20 years’ experience as a people and culture executive. In December 2022, Christine was appointed as Adbri’s Chief People Officer and leads the Group’s people and culture; health, safety and environment; and communications strategies. Christine has extensive local and international experience having worked for manufacturing companies including BlueScope and Orrcon Steel.
Shane Dermody
Chief Commercial Officer
Shane has over 20 years’ experience in the construction material sector across Australia and New Zealand. He joined Adbri in 2018 and since this time has held various operational and sales roles across the Group, including most recently as General Manager – Masonry and prior to that, General Manager Sales & Marketing – Cement and Lime.
Shane was appointed as Adbri’s Chief Commercial Officer in August 2023
